■やまももシンフォニックバンド（YSB）

2013年5月、甘粕宏和氏を指揮者に迎え発足した私たち やまももシンフォニックバンド は、皆様のお力添えをもちまして2022年に結成10周年を迎えました。
これまでNHK交響楽団首席ホルン奏者の福川伸陽氏、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団首席クラリネット奏者の伊藤寛隆氏をはじめとする日本を代表するすばらしい音楽家の方々に共演していただく幸運にめぐまれ、また、新作の委嘱や語りとのコラボレーションなど、型にとらわれない独自の演奏スタイルとそのクオリティに注目を集めるまでになりました。
これまでに、CD「交響曲ト調」と、指導用DVD「だれにでもできる吹奏楽シリーズ①②③」がリリースされ、いずれもご好評を賜っています。
信頼され皆様に親しまれる団体となりますよう、団員のチームワークを大切にさらに前進して参ります。
定期演奏会以外では、音楽鑑賞教室の積極的な開催、21世紀の吹奏楽”響宴”への出演、全日本市民バンドフェスティバルへ出場、東京都吹奏楽連盟主催「マーチ＆ポップス」への出演など、多岐に渡ります。
「やまもも」は一年を通して葉を落とすことがなく青々としげり、赤いチャーミングな実をつける、日本中で見かけるおなじみの木です。
ステージ上から発せられる「演奏できる喜び」が客席のみなさまに届き、幸せな時間を共有できますよう努力してまいります。

■指揮者　甘粕宏和

東京音楽大学卒業。在学中は汐澤安彦指揮シンフォニックウィンドアンサンブル団長として活躍。
指揮を三原明人、近藤久敦の各氏に師事。音楽について保科洋氏から広く薫陶を受ける。広上淳一教授を中心とする東京音楽大学指揮科研修生として長きにわたり研鑽を積む。
ワルシャワ国際吹奏楽指揮コンクール2021において第1位ならびにオーケストラ特別賞受賞。
第32回日本管打・吹奏楽アカデミー賞受賞。

現在はバンドディレクター、指揮者として全国各地で活動、また各種執筆や日本吹奏楽指導者クリニック、JBAゼミナールを始めとする講習会講師、審査員などをつとめている。ユーモアあふれる実践的な講習は各地で好評を博し、指導用DVD「だれにでもできる吹奏楽」（ジャパンライム株式会社）

②みんなで音の花束をつくろう！
③知っとこ！やっとこ！吹奏楽！
はシリーズ化されロングリリースを続けている。

2015年日韓国交正常化50周年記念事業として韓国ソウルにて現地青少年オーケストラを指導、指揮
2020東京オリンピック閉会式吹奏楽指揮
2022NHKみんなのうた吹奏楽指揮、など多数。
最近ではフジテレビめざましテレビ「キラビト」に出演、八丈島にてウィンズフェスの開催、ヨーロッパ各地でもセミナー、ロサンゼルス指揮研究所への入所などその幅を拡げている。

■Conductor – Hirokazu Amakasu

Hirokazu Amakasu graduated from Tokyo College of Music and was a principal for the Symphonic Wind Ensemble led by Yasuhiko Shiozawa. He studied conducting with Akihito Mihara, Hisaatsu Kondo, and music in general with Hiroshi Hoshina. He spent many years studying under Professor Junichi Hirokami as a trainee in the conducting department of the Tokyo College of Music.
And he studied flute with Mari Nakano, Masayoshi Umezu and Koji Honda. He has taken flute master classes with Aurele Nicolet, Christian Larde, and Michael Martin Kofler etc.

Amakasu won first place and a special orchestra prize at the Warsaw International Wind Ensemble Conducting Competition 2021. He is also a recipient of the 32nd Japan Wind Orchestra Academy Award.

Amakasu is one of the leading band directors in Japan, helping premier groups earn highest ratings at band contest. He is a frequent clinician for the Japan Band Clinic, the Japanese Band Directors Association’s conference and the Japan Academic Society of Wind Music conference. An active adjudicator for band and ensemble contests and a contributor for method books and band magazines, his lectures are also produced on DVD. His enthusiastic and practical teaching style is appreciated throughout Japan. He is a executive committee member of the 21st Kyo-En Project, a remarkable annual concert presenting unpublished and premier works by outstanding Japanese composers.

An Amakasu arrangement was premiered at the 2013 Sports Festival in Tokyo, conducted by himself. He was also invited to coach and guest-conduct the South Korea Youth Orchestra for the 50th Anniversary of Normalization of Japan-South Korea Relations Memorial Project. He conducted the wind orchestra at the closing ceremony of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Amakasu is an active flutist, often performing in chamber ensembles. He and his group, “ensemble murmure” have presented five recitals to date. He recently formed a new trio, “Ensemble Belles Ailes”.

Hirokazu Amakusu is currently music director of Yamamomo Symphonic Band, having been a primary conductor since its establishment in 2013. The band premiered an innovative piece with Nobuaki Fukukawa, principal horn of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and Hirotaka Ito, principal clarinet of the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, incorporating visual slides and narration. The Symphonic Band continues to develop new concepts for its distinctive performance style and literature.
